Stephenson Way/Lescar Road parking enforcement

Due to the number of parking issues that have affected Stephenson Way and part of Lescar Road, we will now be enforcing no parking at any time on parts of these roads. The no parking areas will be clearly signposted, explaining that any vehicles that park in these areas will face immediate fines of £100. There will be no exclusions. Please note that anyone parking in designated parking bays on Lescar Road will not be charged.

We hope that this will alleviate the issues arising from parking at junctions, creating blind spots and making it difficult for buses to navigate.

We have now opened the Olive Lane overflow car park which can be accessed at the bottom of Stephenson Way as well as the main Olive Lane car park. Parking here is free for 2.5 hours and will soon offer an option to pay for more time should you need it. There are plenty of spaces here within easy walking distance to Olive Lane.

As always, we thoroughly recommend reading all the informational signage that we have installed prior to leaving your vehicle to avoid charges as we cannot refund any future fines.
