Essential Drainage Improvement Works on Highfield Lane

We would like to inform residents about essential drainage improvement works taking place on Highfield Lane over the coming weeks. These works are vital to ensure the long-term performance and resilience of the local drainage network.

Project Overview

To minimise disruption, the works will be completed in two phases over a six-week period, starting Monday, 10th November 2025.

Phase 1

10th November – 28th November
Askham Way to Woodhouse View

Phase 2

1st December – 17th December
Woodhouse View to Autumn Fields

Road Access and Diversions

During each phase, temporary road closures will be in place to allow the works to be completed safely and efficiently. Wherever possible, access for residents will be maintained.

Diversion routes will be clearly signposted throughout the works, and local bus companies will be informed once closure dates are confirmed to ensure public transport users are aware of any changes.
